On 27/04/2009, a team from the Laboratory "CAD / CAM / CAE in Industry" - TU Sofia, managed by prof. Dr. Georgi Todorov, was awarded the Grand Prize of the Bulgarian Industrial Association - sculpture "Icarus" made by sculptor Svetoslav Minekov, a certificate and entry in the book of the BIA in "INTELLECT" category for the development and implementation of innovative mechanical resonance impact pneumatic vacuum system in 2008 - a novelty on the world market, introduced in "SPARKY" JSC.
